THE WEITZMAN NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AMERICAN JEWISH HISTORY APPOINTS JACQUELINE S. GLODSTEIN AS CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Glodstein Brings Four Decades of Experience in Leadership Roles within Jewish Organizations and Institutions

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (February 8, 2023) – Philadelphia’s Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History (The Weitzman) appointed Jacqueline S. Glodstein as its new Chief Development Officer.

Jackie has spent her career as a successful fundraiser for Jewish organizations. From 2011 to 2021, Jackie was Executive Vice President, Global Resource Development, North America & Israel, at Israel Tennis & Education Centers Foundation (ITEC). During her time there, she more than doubled the organization’s fundraising. She held prior development positions at American Friends of Hebrew University, The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and UJA-Federation of New York.

“We have all been taken with Jackie’s enthusiasm for the Museum’s mission and future directions,” Dr. Misha Galperin, The Weitzman’s President and CEO said. “She has joined The Weitzman at a propitious moment, as our capital campaign gets under way. The role of Chief Development Officer is critical for our institution’s success, and we are delighted that she is able to join our team.”

Glodstein will be responsible for all Development activity, overseeing major gifts, membership, donor stewardship, and fundraising events. The Weitzman is the only museum in the nation dedicated exclusively to exploring and interpreting the American Jewish experience.

“In even just my first few weeks I have been immensely impressed with the dedication of the professional staff and lay leadership,” Jackie Glodstein said. “I’m thrilled to come into the Museum at this critical moment and join this remarkable team in creating The Weitzman’s bold and exciting next chapter.”

Glodstein assumed her new role on January 3, 2023.
