PHILLY JEWISH MUSEUM EXPECTS 400+ ATTENDEES AT HANUKKAH MAKERS MARKET

Held on Museum Store Sunday, Hanukkah Shopping Event Brings Artists, Creators, and Plenty of Food, Creating a Festive Holiday Atmosphere at The Weitzman
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (October 28, 2025) – The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History (The Weitzman) will host its Hanukkah shopping event with new and returning food and gift vendors on Museum Store Sunday, Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Last year, 400 attendees came out for the Hanukkah Makers Market. This festive holiday shopping event celebrates the Museum’s mission to share the American Jewish experience, bringing together the Museum Store’s standout artisans and creators with some of the city’s most exciting food purveyors.
Hanukkah is December 14 through December 22.
The Hanukkah Markers Market also kicks off Winter at The Weitzman, a series of holiday programs leading up to the Museum’s annual December 25 family celebration, Being ___ at Christmas.

“Held on my favorite holiday of the year — Museum Store Sunday — this event fills our lobby with food, music, shopping, and community over Thanksgiving weekend,” said Kristen Kreider, the Weitzman’s managing director of business operations and curator of the store. “It’s such a joy to see people finding the perfect gifts for their loved ones, and a real treat to welcome so many new and returning vendors into the building all at once.”
There is no cost to attend. All Museum Store proceeds benefit the Museum’s mission to teach the powerful and true stories of Jewish life in America as an antidote to antisemitism. Learn more.
