EVENT OVERVIEW
Join us on December 25th for our annual day of family fun, Being ____ at Christmas. ❄️ Let’s get groovy, crafty, and jolly!
From top to bottom, the Museum will be jam-packed with performances and activities for members and visitors of all ages.
Start with exciting live performances, interactive activities, and more:
- Interactive concert with Lolly Hopwood (all ages)
- Chinese lion-dance demonstration from the Philly Suns Lion Dancers (all ages)
- Circus performance from the unicycling-hula-hooping-juggling master, The Amazing Larry Vee (all ages)
- World percussion workshop and drum circle led by Joseph Tayoun (ages 8+)
- Adoughma (Ah-DOUGH-mah) dough play; sensory-friendly play dough fun with Erin Beser (all ages)
- Face painting with Robin Matthews and Rachel Katz
- an exciting self-paced scavenger hunt awaits kids of all ages
Don’t miss make-and-take crafts, the Being ___ Sticky Note Activity, giant board games, puzzles, including winter-themed foam sticker picture frames, paper lanterns, paper crowns, and coloring sheets; and a sensory-friendly play zone with a foam floor, blocks, and puzzles.
The fun doesn’t stop there: check out the 2024-25 Philadelphia Eagles Championship Season Highlights, then enjoy classic winter movies – Cool Runnings (Rated PG) and Frozen 2 (Rated PG) – throughout the day in our Dell Theater, and explore the Museum’s core exhibition, checking out all of the excitement.
