On June 1, 2023, we honored the legacy of Ed Snider at the Museum’s annual Only in America® Gala.
About the Honoree
Edward M. Snider was an icon—an entrepreneur, a passionate philanthropist, a risk-taker for the greater good, and a true visionary in the sports and entertainment industry. He was the consummate “Dreamer and Doer” from an early age, the embodiment of the stories in The Weitzman which he helped to re-establish in 2010. In 2010, Mr. Snider established the Weitzman’s Only in America® Gallery/Hall of Fame which celebrates stories that represent the pinnacle of American freedom. He understood that the Museum must stand as a bulwark against bigotry and hate by offering joyful and powerful stories of Jewish and American achievement.
