About the Event
Join the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History and Jewish Book Council as we celebrate inspiring and influential women leaders in the Jewish community at our annual Women’s Leadership Forum luncheon. The luncehon will begin at 11:00 AM at the Weitzman Museum.
The luncheon will include a VIP tour of The Weitzman’s special exhibition The First Salute or The Museum’s new permenant exhibition Colors of Creation, a catered lunch, and a program with author Catherine Ostler.
Catherine is a New York Times bestselling author, and will speak about her recent book, The Renoir Girls. The book explores the two youngest daughters of a prominent Jewish French family, pillars of Parisian high society in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and who are depicted in Pink and Blue, one of Renoir’s mid-career masterpieces.

About the Author
Catherine Ostler is an author and journalist who has been Editor-in-Chief of Tatler, the Evening Standard magazine (London), and Editor of The Times (London) Weekend. She has also written for a wide range of publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Telegraph (London), the Financial Times, and Vogue. She studied English at Oxford University. Her first book was the critically acclaimed The Duchess Countess: The Woman Who Scandalized Eighteenth-Century London.
