The Institute for Curriculum Services is proud to welcome the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History as a guest presenter for Jewish American Heritage Month.

During this session, Rebecca Krasner, Director of Education of The Weitzman, which leads Jewish American Heritage Month, will model a newly-available interactive classroom presentation. The goal of the presentation is to counter myths and misinformation about who Jews are by providing insights into the history and living culture of Jews in America. The 45-minute session followed by Q&A will unpack the complexities of Jewish peoplehood, look at the beliefs and behaviors that unite Jewish people, share stories of diversity within the American Jewish community, and examine the ways in which Jewish people and Jewish values have shaped and been shaped by the America that millions of people call home.
