Join us for an unforgettable evening with acclaimed singer, fiddler, and songwriter Lily Henley, as she brings the Sephardic Jewish ballad tradition to life with her contemporary interpretations. Henley’s artistry celebrates Ladino, a critically endangered language and musical tradition rooted in the Sephardic diaspora, blending Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, and Persian influences.
With her latest album, Oras Dezaoradas (Lior Éditions Records), Henley revitalizes these melodies, weaving together the hopes, dreams, and stories of Sephardic women across generations. Her performances build bridges between past and present, connecting audiences to the vibrant cultural legacy of the Sephardi people.
Honoring Flory Jagoda’s Legacy
This concert also pays tribute to Flory Jagoda, a beloved figure in Sephardic music who passed away four years ago. Jagoda’s legacy continues to inspire artists like Henley, underscoring the importance of preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Sephardic music.
Don’t miss this chance to immerse yourself in the enchanting melodies and heartfelt storytelling of Lily Henley—a captivating celebration of culture, resilience, and artistry.
