Join us for an unforgettable evening of comedy as we welcome the legendary Judy Gold for a night of much needed laughter! Known for her bold, unapologetic humor, Judy’s sharp wit tackles everything from family and relationships to her experiences as a Jewish, gay woman. Her fearless approach to comedy draws from personal stories with a deep sense of honesty and hilarious candor, making her a force on stage who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and turn life’s absurdities into laughter.

To kick off the night, we’ll enjoy an opening set from the rising star Liz Glazer. A former tenured law professor turned comedian, Liz brings a unique and insightful perspective to her stand-up, blending her life experiences as a lawyer, a rabbi’s wife, and a lesbian. Her clever storytelling has earned her top spots in comedy competitions, and she’s known for her deeply personal and reflective material. Together, these two powerhouses will create a comedy experience you won’t want to miss! Come ready to laugh and leave feeling lighter.

ABOUT JUDY GOLD

Judy has had stand-up specials on HBO, Comedy Central and LOGO. She was a part of Netflix’s Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration. She is the author of Yes I Can Say That: When They Come For The Comedians, We Are All In Trouble, a critically acclaimed book about free speech and cancel culture which debuted as the number one comedy release on Amazon and was featured in the New York Times Book Review. Judy is also host of the hit podcast, It’s Judy’s Show with Judy Gold.

Judy’s TV acting credits include, City On A Hill (Cassandra Kassell), FX’s Better Things (Chaya). Showtime’s The First Lady (Elizabeth Read). Judy also guest stars as Sophie in the much-anticipated Apple TV+ drama series Extrapolations. Other guest stars include Hulu’s Life and Beth, and Season 2 of Peacock’s Girls 5 Eva. She has had recurring roles on Comedy Central’s Awkwafina, Netflix’s Friends from College and TBS’ Search Party. Her recent film credits include Love Reconsidered and the upcoming She Came To Me, and Eternal Buzz.

Judy is one of the main subjects in the Hulu documentary Hysterical. She has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show. From 1999-2010, Judy was the host of HBO’s At the Multiplex with Judy Gold. Judy also won two Emmy awards for writing and producing The Rosie O’Donnell Show. She was also a writer on the final season of Better Things.

About Liz Glazer

Liz Glazer is an award-winning standup comedian, actor, and writer. Liz won first place in the Boston Comedy Festival and Ladies of Laughter Competition.  She has been featured in a full article in the Wall Street Journal (as well as Above the Law, Lex Magazine, the Pennsylvania Gazette and other publications).  Liz was also a part of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and will be a part of the upcoming HBO Women in Comedy Festival. As an actor, Liz has appeared on ABC’s FOR LIFE and CBS’s BULL, and is on the faculty at Lesly Kahn & Co., the Los Angeles acting studio. Liz is also writing a television pilot about her life, a draft of which was a semi-finalist in the Stage 32 writing competition.

Liz began her career as most standup comedians do: as a tenured law professor. Liz attended the University of Pennsylvania, receiving her B.A. magna cum laude and M.A. in Philosophy (Liz submatriculated into the graduate division so she earned both degrees in 4 years). Liz then attended the University of Chicago Law School where she was a member of the Law Review.  After working as a transactional real estate lawyer at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, the New York Law firm, Liz went on to teach law and get tenure from Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law, and also visited at other law schools such as Northwestern University Law School and Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While she was a law professor, Liz published law review articles in the Northwestern University Law Review, the Georgetown Law Journal, the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender, the Columbia Law Review Sidebar, the University of Pennsylvania Law Review PENNumbra, among other journals. AND THEN, Liz gave it all up to do comedy, where her material draws from her own life as a lesbian, a rabbi’s wife, and a former lawyer.

These days Liz performs regularly at comedy clubs and festivals all over the country.  Liz also does private events for law schools, law firms, synagogues, and major corporations. While Liz loves performing live in person, she’s equally comfortable yelling into her laptop on Zoom as she did nightly during the pandemic.  She has also worked with many of her fellow comedians, such as Myq Kaplan, Maria Bamford, Judy Gold and many others.
