Join us at The Weitzman for a dynamic evening with Netflix star and Philly hometown hero Aleeza Ben Shalom as she launches her new book, Matchmaker, Matchmaker. This special event will feature an engaging onstage conversation with Rabbanit Dasi Fruchter, and the chance to get your copy of Aleeza’s book personally signed.

Known for her role in Jewish Matchmaking, Aleeza brings her signature humor, warmth, and practical advice to this hometown celebration, where she’ll share insights from Matchmaker, Matchmaker—her paradigm-shifting guide to dating with purpose and building lasting love.

In her book, Aleeza offers tried-and-true methodologies, such as “date ’em ’til you hate ’em” and “no touching for the first five dates,” and pairs them with real-world examples and heartfelt client stories. More than a roadmap to finding “The One,” it’s a guide to self-discovery and creating strong, meaningful relationships.

Aleeza Ben Shalom has coached hundreds of singles, trained over 350 dating coaches and matchmakers globally, and earned the title “Jewish Dating Guru.” Her work has been featured in Rolling Stone, NPR, NBC News Daily, and more. Now, she’s bringing her expertise home to Philadelphia for an evening you won’t want to miss!
